Phra Kru Chotivorakun, the practice of Luang Pu Cha Priest of Kosum - Chiang Yuen district (Dhammayut Nikaya) has an idea to build an ordinary hall for religious ceremonies here to preserve the arts and culture of the people in the community. The villagers and their disciples have joined together to donate funds for the construction by having studied in a style from Laos with the body of ordinary hall is 20 meters width, 30 meters length, and 20 meters height, It took 9 years to complete the construction. It is ordinary hall or sim in northeast language, so the villager always called Sim Wat Pa Nong Son, it is a sim art in Lan Chang that very rare, just few area in northeast. Inside is enshrined an elegant replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat, in the ordinary hall are ornately carved woodwork. If tourists come to Chiang Yuen district, don't forget to visit this place.
